Melvin Vu

Melvin Vu has a wealth of experience spanning the tech industry, corporate sector, government, start-ups, and ventures. With a unique blend of expertise, he has spearheaded the growth and success of the companies that he has been with.

As the former CEO of Good Doctor Technology (GDT), a joint venture between Ping An Health, Grab, and Softbank, Melvin's leadership and strategic insights drove GDT to become a leading B2B player in the online healthcare space. Before his stint at GDT, Melvin held several senior roles at Grab, where he oversaw the launch of several pioneering services that transformed the transportation and logistics landscape across Southeast Asia.

In addition to his track record in the private sector, Melvin has also made significant contributions to the public sector. As the former Director of Communications and Development at SG Enable, he worked tirelessly to build an inclusive society that empowers people with disabilities. He also served as the CEO of SATS-Creuers Cruise Services (SCCS), where he was responsible for operationalizing the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, a world-class facility that has put Singapore on the map as a premier cruise destination.

He has also held various leadership positions in companies such as Carlson Wagonlit Travel, National Heritage Board, Singapore Cruise Centre, and Singapore Tourism Board. In each of these roles, Melvin's focus on growth, people, and innovation has helped him build thriving organizations and lasting relationships.

Melvin is a graduate of Nanyang Technological University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) with a major in Tourism and Hospitality.
